I don’t know if you could blame it on delusions of grandeur or simply just bad inspiration but since AIH:s breakthrough two years ago with “In Case We Die” the Australian indie pop octet have changed direction and it’s not for the good. The sound, simple and charming instrumental pop from the first record is gone in favour for an artificial wannabe-arty-and-creative kind of sound and for some reason the tuba is gone.
