Rumours have said the Berlin Love Parade face the grave for quite a while now but still,  every year, hundreds of thousands raver’s have hit the city. Now this has finally come to an end.

But don’t worry, the only thing that’s changing is the setting of the spectacle: It will move to the Ruhr area in the west of Germany. Ruhr, mostly known as a hardcore industrial area, dirty and polluted might at a first glance seem like a bad exchange but aside from the factory’s the area is also the most popular for concert’s and festival in Germany. The move might actually be just what the Love Parade needs: a little more space and far from the authority the festival might be able to bloom again.

This year the party starts August 25 th and if you want to go there, the old mining city of Essen is where you wan’t to head.
